 The state government has announced a fine of Rs 200 from a person who leaves without wearing a mask anywhere in the state, 

but the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation is levying a fine of Rs 500 from a person who does not wear a mask.  But now there is a big news.

 It has been decided to levy uniform fines across the state from August 1.  The fine has been increased from Rs 200 to Rs 500.  

On the other hand, a big announcement has been made today to give some relief to the citizens in masks.  From today, people across the state will be able to get a simple mask from Amul Parlor for Rs.

 According to sources, Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has decided to impose a fine of Rs 500 on those who wear masks in public as well as those who spit in public from August 1 across the state.  The current penalty of Rs 200 will be increased to Rs 500 from August 1.

 On the other hand, the Chief Minister has also decided that for the purpose of making masks easily available to the citizens and the public, plain masks will be available to the citizens at a nominal price of only Rs 2 from Amul Parlor in the state.
